Kristin began Mau Loa Sweets in 2019 with a few goals in mind:
Offer unique and tasty treats to help celebrate events
Use responsible ingredients and packaging to help minimize the footprint of a small business
Offer alternative ingredients to meet special dietary restrictions
She loves working around a theme and encourages her customers to get creative.
With a background in apparel design and a love for all things created with her own hands, it was inevitable that Kristin would one day be a small business owner. As a part Hawaiian, it was also a certainty that her Hawaiian culture would be incorporated into the business. 'Mau Loa' means 'Endless' in Hawaiian resulting in a name meaning 'Endless Sweets'.
